An annual gathering of Hispanic gaming associations scheduled for next month is going to see participation by a number of Latin American civic gaming groups. The Iberoamerican Corporation of State Lotteries and Gambling (CIBELAE, for its Spanish acronym) is going to meet in Costa Rica and will pull together representatives from Colombia, Chile, Costa Rica and many others, along with a number of international gaming operators. Among these will be leading gaming group Betcris.

The XVII Biannual Congress of CIBELAE will be held from November 6 – 9 at the Double Tree Hotel in San José. Regulators from 20 different jurisdictions around the world will be in attendance of this year’s “Building Partnerships for Development” conference alongside companies like Betcris, International Game Technology, Playtech, Scientific Games and more. In addition, President Rebecca Paul Hargrove and Executive Director Luca Esposito of the World Lottery Association (WLA) have also confirmed their participation. Hargrove is also the president of the Tennessee Lottery, a position for which she was chosen in 2003.

In addition to a roundtable discussion by regulators, CIBELAE will also hold seminars on changes occurring in the global gaming industry and modernization of equipment technology for both brick-and-mortar and digital solutions. Participants will also be able to participate in discussions on topics such as security innovation, new gaming channels and betting innovation.

In addition to seminars on various gaming subjects, the conference is also an excellent opportunity for companies to showcase their products and services. It’s also a chance to network with other vendors and operators and create and improve functional relationships.

Betcris is a subsidiary of TV Global Enterprises Ltd., which is licensed and registered in Malta. It is a leading operator of online gaming activity and has established operations in more than 100 locations across Latin America, including in Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Mexico, Panama and others. Betcris has platforms in place to offer eSports and sports gambling, as well as online casino games, mobile gambling and more.

CIBELAE is a non-profit civil association of an international and non-governmental nature, created in 1988 and a member of the Executive Committee of the WLA. It operates to promote diverse activities, research and innovation in the gaming space and to facilitate interworking relationships with pertinent legislative policies, regulators and governments. CIBALEA’s connections with the WLA enable it to work with European entities to foster a global gaming industry.
