Last year was a challenging time for the global gaming industry as it fought to overcome the difficulties brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Around the world, gaming operators on all levels suddenly found themselves thrust into a precarious situation, performing a tenuous balancing act as they tried to overcome hurdles while still developing the growing gaming market.

The SAGSE Awards were dedicated last year to those entities and individuals who helped keep the industry moving forward, and Latin American sports gambling and iGaming operator Betcris was selected to receive an award in two separate categories.

Overcoming the challenges brought about by the coronavirus pandemic has not been an easy task for anyone, which is why the SAGSE Awards 2020 specifically emphasized and highlighted those gaming industry players who were able to make the biggest difference. The awardees are selected through open and democratic elections with a focus on social responsibility, health and safety, and innovation.
