Next month, the Peru Gaming Show (PGS) is returning to its normal schedule. Following the disruptions caused by COVID-19 the past couple of years, the gaming industry is actively pursuing live events. The PGS is one of these, and Betcris is preparing to help it be a major success. The global gaming operator will attend, with Director of Business Development Fernando Garita participating in a round table on sports betting.

The PGS will be held on June 15 and 16 at the Jockey Exposition Center in Lima. It will be one of the largest gaming-related events in Latin America this year, bringing together operators, suppliers and technology leaders from around the world.

The organizers of the event, which this year celebrates its 19th edition, announced the participation of Eduardo Sevilla Echevarría, head of Peru’s General Directorate of Casino Games and Slot Machines, to show “the institutional support of the Peruvian government” towards the show. On behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), she will be in charge of cutting the ribbon to inaugurate the expo on Day 1 at 10:30 AM.

Starting at 11 AM the same day, the event will feature a series of conferences that will include the National Society of Gambling (SONAJA), the Peruvian Association of Online and Related Sports Betting (APADELA) and the Association of Tourism and Entertainment Centers (ATCE).

On Day 2, among the other informative sessions, there will be a round table discussion on fraud detection in sports betting. Garita will participate in the track, alongside Sportradar LatAm Integrity Partnerships Manager Juan Méndez and the Peruvian Soccer Federation’s Integrity, Ethics and Compliance Manager, Ángel Suárez.

Operators and suppliers who will attend the PGS are looking for ideas and ways to optimize and expand their business. That is why a large number of entities from the gaming ecosystem from all over the world come to present their innovative inventions at the show.

Stands equipped for the interaction of attendees with the exhibitors will be available throughout the event. Multiple rooms and auditoriums also allow the simultaneous realization of academic and commercial sessions that will prove vital to the advancement of the gaming industry.

All participants will be able to attend conferences and interact with some of the most important representatives of the gaming industry. Betcris is looking forward to the return of the event. It is also looking forward to the opportunity to continue its important role in shaping the sports betting market in Latin America.
