A new global gaming association has been developed to help shape the future of the industry. The SBC Leaders is an exclusive organization of some of the leading companies operating in the gaming space, all collaborating to promote the gaming and betting segments for both individuals and employees, and being accepted is only possible through an invitation. The first members of SBC Leaders have been announced and included in this group is Latin America’s leading sports gambling and gaming operator, Betcris.
Selection for the group was based on a number of criteria. To be chosen, operators must show proficiency in safer gambling and customer care, two tenants of Betcris’s business model, as well as innovation in the areas of product development and technology. Corporate social responsibility, another of the core fundamentals at Betcris, is required, as is a continued focus on developing new markets and achieving greater revenue growth.
SBC Leaders was formed by SBC in an effort to provide greater cohesion among the different components in the global gaming space. SBC Global Relationships Director Kelly Kehn explains of the new endeavor, “It’s fantastic that so many of the world’s biggest operators have taken the opportunity to join SBC Leaders and, in doing so, connect with their peers and contribute to the conversation about the key issues affecting the future of the industry. We have a lot planned for SBC Leaders in 2021, including adding more members from both the ranks of innovative operators and the national trade associations that represent operators in discussions with legislators and regulators.”
Being included in the association is considered a mark of excellence that not all operators are qualified to claim. SBC Leaders will provide members with such benefits as exclusive networking opportunities and a private lounge at SBC events, as well as an annual event for members only.
They will receive a bi-monthly magazine that discusses the latest in the global gaming industry, and a new SBC Leaders Podcast is expected to be introduced soon. The podcast will include one-on-one discussions with senior executives, giving viewers the opportunity to enjoy intimate interaction with the industry’s leaders in order to better understand what is driving their success and future operations.
In addition to Betcris, 12 other entities were selected for inclusion. These are Bet365, Betsson Group, Entain, FanDuel, Kaizen Gaming, Kindred Group, Novibet, Pinnacle, PointsBet, Rush Street Interactive, William Hill and 12Bet. All have already established themselves as the trendsetters and principal operators that are most often associated with the formation of a robust and responsible global gaming industry.
