Through its involvement with the Lotería Nacional de Ecuador, Latin American gaming giant Betcris has an established presence in the lottery industry across the region. The company also has, through that same activity, built a relationship with ORYX Gaming, which offers content services to the Ecuadorian lottery. That relationship is now being expanded, as Betcris and ORYX have agreed to include some of ORYX’s content offerings on its gaming platforms.
Going forward, Betcris will be using the ORYX Hub platform, an application that facilitates the integration of additional gaming activity, including slot machines, live-dealer games, sportsbooks, lotteries and more. The platform will be used by Betcris to launch new online casino games, as well as live-dealer options, and will also be the foundation for the delivery of virtual sports gambling in several regulated markets where the company currently operates.
Betcris CEO JD Duarte says of the extension of the partnership, “As gaming continues to increase in popularity, Betcris is determined to offer the latest and most innovative solutions, ensuring that our players find new opportunities and new challenges. The selection of products available through ORYX Hub is a result of our commitment to provide players access to the most attractive content in all markets which we operate in.”
ORYX is licensed to offer gaming solutions by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), as well as the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN). It has been certified and approved for operations in 14 global jurisdictions, and continues to seek out new regulatory approval as it expands its footprint.
ORYX Hub is a robust, reliable, scalable and adaptable platform that can be rapidly and seamlessly integrated with operators. By incorporating the platform into its program, it will be able to increase its offerings and enhance its promotional activity through the included ORYX Data Analytics Platform, as well as additional player engagement tools, such as leaderboards, tournaments and real-time promotions.
Matevz Mazij, ORYX Gaming’s managing director, asserts, “Strengthening our partnership with Betcris will allow us to offer our product portfolio to a much wider audience across a range of strategic markets and we are positive that in combination with our platform tools it will perform extremely well throughout the operator’s brand portfolio.”
Betcris has built an extensive portfolio of regulated gaming operations throughout Central and South America. It is the leading online gaming operator in the region and has held a gaming license, through its parent company, TV Global Enterprises, with the MGA since 2011.
